Off to Logie Steading to check out all that’s now finally open!

At this time the various businesses are opening on different days and times. Some, including the @logiefarmandgarden shop, the @logiesteadinggallery and @hellygog are open every day of the week, others including delicious takeaway from @theolivetreecafelogie, @logiebookshop, @iolaire @logiewhisky shop are generally open Thursday to Sunday & @gilespearsonantiques is open most days too. Please take a look at our website for more details or ring first if you’re coming down to see someone specific.
The Logie House Gardens, playpark & river walks are always open.
We’re enjoying welcoming many of you back to Logie!

Walking up from the River Findhorn past some of the newly-planted trees from a few weeks back and along to Logie Steading. Even on a grey day the greens are quite something at this time of year. The walks are open for locals to come and enjoy.

A small group of Panny’s Longhorn cattle grazing

A small group of Panny’s Longhorn cattle grazing. These gentle giants are enjoying the growth in the grass since the rain (and snow!) came. They are a small herd, raised extensively with a great deal of love and care. This spring’s babies and their mothers are currently in the field around the steading. They are a social bunch and you may see one mother with a whole group of babies in her care in a sort of ‘nursery’ while her mum mates go off and grab a bite to eat - proof that it takes a village. Hopefully a concept we’ll all be able to get back to before too long - perhaps with new kindness towards each other learned from our experiences of going it alone..
