1 Oct: Guided Tree Walk

A short presentation by Alasdair and Panny Laing about the commercial and amenity trees at Logie, followed by a guided walk around some of the many different varieties growing here

The benign climate and good growing conditions in the Findhorn valley are favourable to trees of many different genera. Not only is there a wide variety but also many of them are very large, and still growing.

We will gather in the Long Room for a short presentation about the commercial forestry and amenity planting and then go and have a walk around some of the trees themselves many of which should have developed good autumn colour by then.

2pm until approx. 3.30pm
