Events, Activities and Courses at Logie

Events and courses are held throughout the year at Logie Steading. A summary of what's on is listed below. Please click the links on the left of this page for further information, dates, booking etc. Thank you.

Outdoor Theatre

Each summer Illyria Theatre visit Logie on their national tour and show a selection of outdoor theatre productions here in July and August. There's always a range from Shakespeare to Gilbert and Sullivan, a family favourite or maybe something quite different - fun and entertainment and something for everyone!

Logie Steading Courses

A wide range of courses, led by experts in their field, are held throughout the year, from dry-stone walling to gardening, book-binding to oil painting, photography to  china mending, crewel embroidery to basket making. Most courses are held in the Long Room and lunch is included.

Art Exhibitions

There is a featured artist each month in The Square Room in Logie Steading Gallery as well as periodic exhibitions throughout the year in The Long Room.

Hellygog Craft Workshops

For adults and children, everything from felting to badge-making, sculpture to sewing.

Logie Steading Mini Markets

Mini food, produce & craft markets on the third Saturday of the month in the summer time.

Bookshop Events

A select program of book readings and talks for adults and children throughout the year.

Logie Whisky & Wine Tastings & Events

Specialist tasting events lead by experts from Scottish distilleries with an exciting range of whisky and gin. A great fun and informative experience.

Logie Steading Christmas Market

Goes from strength to strength and is usually held on the first weekend in December.

Aaron Sterritt Woodworking Courses

Held outdoors in the woods by Logie Steading throughout the year.

The Long Room

Our light and airy meetings and events space, available to hire during the day and evening, long or short term. It's ideal for meetings, talks, courses, pop-up galleries and shops.
