Gardens & River Walk
The kiss of the sun for pardon, The GardensWhatever one's beliefs the walled garden at Logie is a peaceful but interesting place to visit - within a framework of trees, mature yew and box hedges the visitor will find vegetables and fruit and a great variety of unusual shrubs and perennials, many of which are available to purchase at the Farm & Garden Shop in the Steading. Every year new plants are sourced and trialled in the garden. Excellent fresh seed comes from www.plant-world-seeds.com, a nursery in Cornwall who specialize in 'different' plants many of which can cope with Scotland. Findhorn River Walk
The path, suitable for all ages although not recommended for wheels of any sort, leads down to a viewpoint above the river and from there to a variety of routes depending on how far you want to walk.
More detail on walks and access to other Estate areas can be found on the Access page. |
