Logie & Lochindorb Estate

Logie Estate View

Straddling the border between Moray and the Highlands, Logie is an Estate of two geographical parts.

In common with most estates in Britain, at Logie we provide land and buildings for a wide variety of independently run local businesses, in our case ranging from farming to furniture restoration, as well as running businesses of our own.

Logie itself is in the Findhorn valley, renowned for the spectacular gorge scenery through which the river, known for its exciting salmon fishing, runs. Outwith the river valley, the land is a mosaic of farms and trees which provide a livelihood for those who live and work in the area.

LochindorbA few miles to the south, in the upper reaches of one of the Findhorn's tributaries, is Lochindorb. Here the scenery is wilder and the land more open; beautiful at any time of year but challenging in a winter snowstorm. Sheep farming, grouse shooting and trout fishing are the main activities on the heather moorland and lochs, where all sorts of indigenous wildlife thrive.
